24 October 2023 EURegionsWeek Side Event - Promotion of REGIO project "Miron Nicolescu" Technical College
The Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency (ADRBI) organized the event Promotion of the successful REGIO project - "Miron Nicolescu" Technical College located on 89 Metallurgy Boulevard, on October 23, 2023.
The event was registered as a side event (https://regions-and-cities.europa.eu/programme/2023/side-events) within the European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek), the largest forum for debate on EU cohesion policy, details here: (https://regions-and-cities.europa.eu/programme).
The Regional Operational Program 2014-2020 supported with a significant allocation of European funds the improvement of the educational infrastructure of the region, and in 2023, the "European Year of Professional Skills", promotes the project through which the renovation of this educational infrastructure created the basis of a professional integration center where young people learn technical skills, practice and become more prepared for integration into the regional labor market.
