8 October 2019 - Presentation of the "Participation Bridges" project within the European Week of Regions and Cities
Agora Village hosted a management authority booth for the "Town Twinning Between Turkey and the EU" Program. On 08.10.2019, was also presented the project "Participation Bridges", selected from the 23 projects contracted following the call in 2018. This project is implemented by Konak City Hall - Izmir, City Hall of Sector 2 - Bucharest and the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency.
The main objective of the project is to improve the administrative capacity at local level in the process of Turkey's accession to the EU by increasing the democratic participation - the contribution to improving a culture of dialogue by introducing new methods of communication.
