21 October 2020 - European cohesion for local businesses
The Agency for Regional Development Bucharest-Ilfov organized on October 21st, 2020 an event related to the European Week of Regions and Cities, dedicated social cohesion for the local business environment, with a focus on digitalisation. The event is supported and moderated by EURADA - European Association of Development Agencies. The target audience was the private sector in the Bucharest-Ilfov region, chambers of commerce and industry, local authorities.
The debates on the cohesion policy of the European Union and the Regional Operational Program as a key instrument of this policy reiterate the special role that regions play and can play in improving the quality of life of citizens. The presence of regional institutions, such as ADRBI, is highly encouraged and beneficial, both directly through the institutional contacts that are created and indirectly through the transmission of interest and signaling regional issues to the European Union institutions, which set the agenda and role of the regions. in the multiannual financial framework 2021-2027.
ADRBI is currently an intermediate body for the Regional Operational Program and will have the role of managing authority for it in the period 2021-2027, at the level of the Bucharest-Ilfov region. Also, in the next period, ADRBI will become the administrator of a de minimis scheme dedicated to the private environment, within the Operational Program Competitiveness, the Specific Objective "Increasing the contribution of the ICT sector to economic competitiveness".
